The milliSoft multiSwitchBox USB is an external adapter box to connect footswitches or foot pedals to a compter using the USB 2.0 connection. Furthermore integrated solutions are available with one, two or four footswitch buttons in a modern metal enclosure. These switches are fully USB powered and no other cable is necessary except the USB computer connection.
The functions you can activate with your feet can be freely programmed by our software driver and can be configured for all key combinations you can imaginge. Furthermore you can program different settings for different active programs. Running a text reading program (like PDF viewer) you can for example configure the switches to scrolling (arrow up/down) while running another program you can configure your switches for pressing the "return" button. This can be done without having to reconfigure the switches because the driver application is application sensitive and detects what application you are running and what is has to send to the application.

The following examples can show scenarios that can benefit from the use of a footswicth but we can include a footswitch in every application if you need to have a custom solution. Please ask us, we will present you an individual solution.
- industrial use to control functions in production devices
- as musician: start and stop music recordings
- private use to start stop programs or activate common keyboard combinations
we offer different models: The external box can be included in industrial and commercial instances or can be used to connect already existing footswitches to the computer using USB. Musicians already have lots of footswitches that can be connected easily to the computer this way.
The alternative is the integrated footswitch solution inside a metal enclosure providing 1, 2 or 4 switches.
